Kyle started on his own back in 2013, after gaining experience working for Sioux Falls Construction (Journey).  He began doing small projects and tile installation for Carpet One.  Slowly, Kyle expanded his crew and started to perform more subcontracting work for Journey and other general contractors.  Kyle likes to help out whoever calls him, which has led Cosand Construction to doing many unique projects along the way, including new construction homes, remodels, as well as work in healthcare facilities, schools, and casinos.  

Cosand Construction is blessed with some key employees that have been with him from the start, including Joey, the operations manager, who coordinates and manages a growing team of 23. It wasn’t until the pandemic that Brooke, Kyle’s wife, decided to join the team after working for Henry Carlson Construction for 13 years.  Together they manage the projects, employees, and the office. The team works together to get the job done, whether it is rough carpentry, finish carpentry, specialties, or general contracting. 

Outside of the office you can find Kyle and Brooke spending time with their three young children, Callie, Easton, and Chase, enjoying summers at their home on the river and being active in the community. Both are involved with the Home Builders Association, Home Builders Care Foundation, and the National Association of Women in Construction.
